Guiding in Stow Brae Kirk

Girl Guiding in Stow Brae Kirk starts 90 Years ago in September 1929.   To Celebrate this event our Units (9th Paisley Brownies and 9th Paisley Guides took a trip to Sea Life Centre at Loch Lomond this weekend.   Our coach left at 5.30pm Friday 15th March and the girls all enjoyed being shown around the centre, spending their pocket money in the shop, eating Hot-dogs with a cup of juice for supper before heading to the Cinema and watching a film, The Croods.  I think everyone, including our Tawny Owl, enjoyed this very funny film - and full marks to Elaine, our Guide Captain for her choice.

The Brownies and Guides then settled for the night under the Tropical Fish and Sharks.  Yes !!!  many fell asleep in the Tunnel - or more correctly, lay on sleeping bags, chatted,  had fun,  did not sleep but loved the experience.

Meanwhile, the Guiders, (Elaine, Pamela, Malaika, Katy and Aileen) made sure the fish were not disturbed;)    We also had full use of the cafe for endless supply of Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate and water.

A great time was had by everyone and we returned this morning all set to plan for another trip
